Superstar singer, songwriter and recording artist Lionel Richie was captured live in concert at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. in these previously unreleased photos taken in July 2006. Lionel Richie was the headliner for the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.’s Centennial Concert Gala, which was held as part of the organization’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. The concert, entitled An Evening with Lionel Richie Live, was performed as a benefit to the organization by the superstar and member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
